My First Movie Credit
Filed under Movies, Work
I saw Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince today. It is easily the best Harry Potter movie.
I knew my name was submitted for a credit...but you don't know if you actually *are* in the credits until you see the film.
I watched the film today...and I *am* in the credits!
The first large break in the credits (about a full screen) occurs just before the "Industrial Light & Magic"-section. I'm in the "Research & Development" group at ILM. There are only 2 people from R&D in the credits: myself and Max Chen. We are under the title "Technical Support." My name is in the center column, last row.
I'm thrilled to have a movie credit...and on a really good movie, no less.

Soo cool. I will go to see the movie just to see your name. I am not a big fan of the movies, but like the books.

So when do you get the credit listed in IMDB?

that's beyond cool! I might have to actually go see the movie now. I planned to avoid repeating the supreme disappointment I felt with the last one. Order of the Phoenix was the longest trailer I'd ever seen. I wish they had made a movie of it. is Half-Blood less choppy and superficial?

@Thresa:
I saw HP6 again last night...it holds up well to a 2nd viewing. I bet you'll like it.
