I have been using the beta version of Windows Live Writer to write my blog posts for a while now. I love it. A new beta recently arrived with a few new features:
- Support for tables
- Spell checking as you type
- Format text and hyperlinks via right click menu

Found another cool new feature...Paste Special!
You can select the embed video HTML code (like for a You Tube video) and copy it and then paste special directly into your blog post.
Before, I had to switch to HTML code mode and paste and format the embeded clip and then switch back to normal mode to continue writing. Now it is just copy and paste special!

Another cool new feature...
Previously, you could only work on posts that were created in WLW and saved locally. Now it grabs posts directly from your web server so you can edit any post on your site.
Drafts are stored on your web server, too. So you can start a post in WLW and finish it somewhere else that has web access to your blog editor.
